* Period
Late Muromachi Period (A.D1500~1572)

* Shinodare
One to five metal strips taking form from the top of a helmet bowl extending down the front and back or sides of a helmet.
In the early medieval era, Shinodare was made of iron and added to provide reinforcement of helmets.
Later Shinodare was made of gilt copper and remained as ornamentation.

There are two Shinodare at the front and three at the back.
The length is long and it is characteristic of the Muromachi period well.

* Hibiki-no-Ana
Small holes made at the sides of a helmet bowl.
In the early medieval era, Shinobi -no-Oihelmet chin strapjwas coming out of the holes.
Later Hibiki-no-Ana became formalistic and made at the four directions.

The position of Hibiki-no-Ana is low and it is characteristic of the Muromachi period well.

* Condition
For a work of the Muromachi period, it is in very good condition.
